Since November… I’ve been working as the Social Media and Community Developer @Spellbinders Paper Arts. It’s inspired to create again. Those of you who have been reading for a while know that I used to be a crafting machine!
Today I’m going to show you the easiest craft in the world… and it’s useful! If you’re anything like me… you have cords all over the place getting tangled up. Well… Let’s make some cord catchers!
Supplies I used:
- Spellbinders Grand Calibur Die Cutting Machine (But you can use an die cutting machine you might have or even scissors I guess!)
- A banner shaped die template (I used one from Samantha Walker’s Nautical Frames and Accents collection)
- A tiny hole puncher
- Tiny brads
- Colorful heavier weight cardstock
*Note: All of these supplies can most likely be found at your local craft store!
The first thing I did was set my paper on the cutting plate and my banner shaped die on top of the paper (cut side down!). Then I laid my base plate on and ran it through my machine. (It’s technically supposed to be base plate, paper, die, cutting plate… but I’m different like that.)
Then I folded my newly cut banner and punched a small hole with my hole puncher!
Finally… I gathered up my cords, wrapped a banner around them, and secured it with a tiny brad!
And we’re done! Yay!
Now… wasn’t that easy peasy!?
