Yum! Slow Cooked Pot Roast Recipe!

There are so many thing I love about slow cooking a roast…

1. The way my house smells yummy all day long.
2. How easy it is to prepare.
3. The fact that everything we’re eating is in one pot.
4. Hardly any disgusting dishes!

I could go on and on… But I won’t. I will go on and on about the amazing slow cooker I was given by Hamilton Beach! It’s 5 quarts of wonderful! The feature I love most about it is the “keep warm” feature. I usually serve right out of the slow cooker… so this feature makes it convenient to keep it warm for seconds!

Here’s my favorite slow cooked roast recipe:

Ingredients

* 3 potatoes, peeled and quartered
* 1 onion, chopped
* 6 carrots, peeled and sliced or use baby carrots!
* 2 pounds boneless round steak
* 3/4 cup water

Directions

1. Place the meat, onions, and water in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 7 to 10 hours. I also like to sprinkle on Mrs. Dash for seasoning. I use it pretty liberally.
2. Add in the potatoes and carrots halfway through. That way they don’t get too mushy!

I bet you want to make your own Hamilton Beach slow cooker pot roast now. Don’t you? Well… you’re in luck. They’re available HERE at Walmart, for only $16.00 (currently). Join the Twitter conversation by tweeting #hambeach! See you there!

*Note: I was given a Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker from Collective Bias. In exchange, I’ve written this post about my experience and let you know where you can purchase it.

    Yummy Yummy! Love roasts though mine never come out as good as my Moms. I think we are going to make one for Thanksgiving, along with the the turkey though. Mix it up a bit. :)
